Burn-out Art workshop

Tell your story through art! No drawing or art experience required. Using photocopy, fire, and simple printing techniques, we’ll create works that express you and your personal experience. These abstract, collage works may include photographs, documents, and cloth that you bring, with text from memories you choose to share. With help from artist teachers and fellow veterans, you’ll create an individual framed work to take home and also contribute to our community war stories scroll in the gallery exhibition, a new kind of graphic novel in cloth!  We’ll send more information when you register, and welcome you to a creative afternoon with other veterans and soldiers!
